Our cover story this month features the winners in Builder/Architect Magazine's first annual "Best of the Upstate" awards.

We'd like to thank all the architects, designers and contractors who submitted entries in six categories.

The homes and projects featured on these pages reflect some of the best residential design and construction being done in the Upstate South Carolina in the last two years.

We'd also like to thank the three judges who gave so generously of their time and talents to help choose the top award winners in a blind, juried process.
