Chapman Design Group, Inc. Receives Energy Award
Donald Chapman and Chapman Design Group, Inc. are pleased to announce they received a 2011 Pinnacle Award from the SC Home Builder’s Association. The South Carolina Energy Office gave this award for the “Best Achievement in Energy Efficiency”. The project titled “Three Birds, One Stone” involved the combination of a two-bedroom guest house, a six-car collector garage and a 2500 bottle under ground wine cellar for the client all designed and built to look as though it was a farm house from years past. During the presentation, it was said that the recipient of this award shows that any project can be energy efficient. In addition to being an Architect, Chapman is also a SC Certified Master Builder and along with his wife owns Icon Construction of SC, LLC who constructed the project.

Over 50% of all our projects, both residential and commercial, have been produced for repeat clients, Chapman said.
